Sweet. Scientists have discovered what they are calling a lost world (pictures included). The newly discovered area is home to what they believe is hundreds of new species of animals. The craziest part, they do not believe humans have ever been to the area before (they had to reach it by helicopter). I find it really amazing that there is still land that has yet to be discovered. On the other hand, I feel bad for the animals, because you know it will only be a matter of time before we (humans) start putting up hotels and other tourist type attractions. Sad.

In other news, updates will be infrequent for the next two weeks as finals are just around the corner. I am actually exited for them a little bit, as I only have six more finals left in my college career. Wish me luck. Peace.

No no no, not grin as in smile you foolish foolish blog reader, this is grin as in Great Images in NASA. Yea I know, it is hard to see how exactly they thought of the acronym grin from that title, but hey, I am not the one who though of it. I am only the one blogging about it.

Anyway, GRIN is a collection of various photographs throughout the history of NASA. It is kind of cool, since some pictures come in huge resolution (3000×3000), which gives you an extremely close-up view of objects. The only downside to that is the clarity of most of the images is definitely sub-par compared to todays standards in photography. Anyway, I thought some of you space nuts might find it slightly interesting. Enjoy.

So I was doing some more browsing on the net today (I usually do that everyday), and came across one of those fabulous Top 10 lists that everyone enjoys oh so much. The good part about this one, other than the fact that it deals strictly with dealy animals, is the write-ups for each animal. I personally like the African Lion description, it is just hilarious. Anyway, take a quick peep, and be sure to avoid at all costs. Adios and enjoy (I really need to stop ending my blog posting with that phrase.
