I have finally found the solution! It took A LOT of trial and error, but when you get the message you just push up and hold the switch on the bottom right of your psp, it WILL LOAD any website!!!

a trick(that works for me) is to press HOME before the message pops up(while the psp is loading the site).
With good timing the text of the page will be displayed, but not pictures(and the background will only be white)

There is no wai to fix this problem. cleaning history, cookies or changing anything in your psp does not help you to fix it up. There is only one solution and that is reporting this to sony emplooyers.

lol man when u dont have memory heres what you do. u either go to file-previous tab and delete your other tabs, and delete your history which consumes alot of ur memory. btw im buying a 2gig memory stick for psp for 25$ or 1gig add me if u sell

i dont know but im having the same problem with my PSP. i dont even know what memory its talking about ihave a good memory card, and i keep my catche cleared. You are right it is inconsistent.

I dunno peeps, i bought it thinking wow hand held gaming good specs, not bad, then i down graded the firmware to 1.50 and am using homebrew for everything, i’ve never paid for a game and i can run all the classics on emulators, the browsers a little cruddy in it’s capabilities but at the end of the day it does what it say’s on the tin and you can make it do a hell of a lot more.

Pretty sure it’s been hashed and re-hashed that, as far as hand-held gaming is concerned, the PSP manages to do what it’s supposed to do. (It ought to be mentioned that, as I have had mine since launch, too, it didn’t even do that originally.)

My wife’s died on her a lo-o-ong time ago after she put the Sims 2 UMD in it. Can’t explain it, but the whole thing just died on her. Since we weren’t together at the time, and I wasn’t finding much use for it, I mailed her mine.

Fast forward 2 years or so, I just found it at the bottom of a box today while doing some unpacking from a recent move and thought I’d see if any of the firmware updates offered in the last 2 years made any improvement.

It was nice — almost redeeming — to see that Sony had included a browser, WMA support, Flash support, etc., until I tried to use it at any length.

It’s either going back in the bottom of the box or finally on Ebay (though I doubt I’ll get much of a turnaround on it). Do the folks at Sony even bother reading the blogs to get public reflections of their products? To say it again, the PSP isn’t a bad device; it was just released by Sony.

I hope Microsoft considers putting something like this out someday soon, learning a lesson from Sony’s Frankstein.

I disagree, i’m twelve years old… i’ve had mine about 1-2 years and appart from website issues ive been able to work almost anyting out…

Sure it cant be a laptob but my laptop is 26cm(long)
35cm wide, the screen is 25cm high the body is 2.5 cm thick, my psp is 7cm long 17cm wideand the body is 1.5 cm thick…

you can put a lot more in a laptop can’t you… the psp is gr8 for its size!

Sony has (had) such a great oppurtunity with the PSP, but they made it so damn user unfriendly- How many PSP owners had to basically figure out a LOT of the PSP functions by trial and error? I’ve had mine since launch and I probably use it a total of 20 hours/year. On the verge of selling my souped-up PSP and just buying a pimped-out ipod. Sorry, Sony- oppurtunity wasted.

The protential is there for this machine the PSP to become a nice little mobile gadget at home. The children could roam the house while listening to their favourite music off your local network, msn, movies and with their head phones on. So whats the deal with this Location Player and PS3, just another con while all this is already possible through your home wireless network and PSP. External ram or whatever it takes for general web browsing, come on Sony get your finger out because this unit ic capable of so much more and there is never enough Laptops around and not everybody wants to drag alaptop around. Mobile fantasy……
