Well, I found this article online and thought it was a pretty interesting read, so I figured I would post about it here. I know most folks are not into the whole Hybrid vehicles, but I personally am. I guess it is that whole need for speed and power. That I also do not get. People get the fastest cars just so they can be restricted to 70mph. But hey, whatever works. The other part I do not understand is people's misconceptions about hybrids. I never drove a prius (the cadillac of hybrids), but I did have the pleasure to get behind the wheel of a Honda Civiv Hybrid, and while it isn't the fastest car on the market, it is by no means a go cart. The car had around the normal power of other civics I have drove, just with better gas mileage. In fact, I am actually heavily considering making a little Hybrid my first post-graduation car purchase. I could see myself in one of those, but then, I could also see myself behind the wheel of a Lincoln LS also. It is going to be a tough choice, real tough choice. Well, if gas prices drop it will be a tough choice. If they continue on their current trend, which means it will be about $4 a gallon by the time I graduate, it will be a pretty choice.
Anyway, enough of my babbling, the article can be read here. Peace.
