OK, so I it has been a good long minute since my last blog post. I am not sure what happened there for a little bit. Well actually I do know what happened; I started work, started having a lot of free time, and got overly addicted to Command & Conquer: Generals. Oh yes, I am addicted. Full fledge addiction too. It is not good, not good at all.
Example: The other day (Sunday to be exact), it was probably one of the nicer days of the summer. It had to have been a few hundred degress outside (slight exaggeration), and instead of going for a bike ride, smashing a three or more tennis balls, or even washing the car, I sat at my computer desk and played C&C … for a good six or seven hours. Pathetic? You bet.
To add to the pathetic ness, I consumed most of my Monday free time doing the exact same thing. Sad, truly truly sad. Fortunately for me (and my computer), some of my folks and the lady-friend came over today. So what does the pathetic addicted to C&C black man named Fonzo do? He squeezes in two games before folks show up, and one after they leave. The signs of a true addict! Lol!
Oh, in more exciting and happier news, word on the street is my nephew is coming to town sometime soon. I am sure that will do wonders for my video game addictions.
In other more related to this post news, I feel like I wasted a really good blog title; addiction. I am sure I could have come up with a better story than this for such a title. Oh well, too late now.
