Ever go to a website only to find that it forces you to register for a free account before accessing any content? Well I have been to plenty, and I must say it is beyond annoying and usually one of the deciding factors in determining whether or not I will return to the site in the future (and no, this website does not 'force' you to register, it simply gives you the option).

Anyways, if you are just as bothered by it as I am, I highly suggest you take a hop skip and click on over to bugmenot.com. This particular website keeps/offers accounts for various websites which users can use free of charge. If that did not make much sense, basically go there and get a username/password for a website that requires you to register which you do not want to register for. Actually, I am not sure if that second sentence made much more sense, but I am pretty sure you get it. And moving on.

The website does not have a logon for every single website on the net (obviously). Also, you probably will not find username/passwords for websites such as The Wall Street Journal, which is subscription based (nobody wants to spend their money so other people can free-load). However, you will find logins to websites such as Madville.com which restrict access to their journals (aka blognatorials) to registered members. In addition, if you need access to a website but find that there is no login available, you can create one and submit it to the bugmenot database and help some poor poor soul out in the future. Neat huh?

Oh, also if you use Firefox (which you should), you can go to this website and install a nice little plugin which will automagically search for username/passwords to websites. If you want to go this route (which I recommend), you want to save the file to your computer, and then select File -> Open File from within Firefox, find the file you just downloaded, and blah blah blah I am sure you know the rest.

Well that is it for today. I would write more, but I have some very important nothings to accomplish. So, I am going to go do that. Adios, and enjoy.
