It has been sort of weird these past couple of days. I wake up, have nothing to do, and find nothing to do. Well, I did manage to find the energy to clean my room the other day (much needed), organized the living room closet, the coat closet, and tomorrow it is likely that I will give the bathroom a good ‘ol fashioned scrub-down. Why am I doing all of this you ask? Well, I am bored.
I walked out of my last final (for this quarter) on Thursday at about 2pm, and ever since, have been dying for something to do. I am simply not used to having this much downtime. Granted it is nice because I have managed to get some much needed video gaming in (Jade Empire is good, but Fable is better – so far). I even was bored enough that I re-stacked my shoes to make the process of getting shoes from the bottom of the stack a little bit easier to manage. I know that does not sound like it should be hard to do, but I have something like, oh, 20+ pair of shoes, so finding the best pair for the outfit is sometimes a challenge. Hey, what can I say, I like shoes – a lot.
Oh well, I guess I should not complain too much. Having nothing to do is well-liked difference from having too much to do, which is what last quarter felt like every day. Also, I start my new jobby-job on Monday, so I will not have to be bored for too much longer. Thanks goodness. I actually considered post-poning beginning work for another week or so (give myself more time off), but after only two days, I am glad I did not. This having nothing to do stuff is fun, but it would drive me crazy if I did this for more than a few days.
Anyway, I guess it is time for me to go play some video games. Should I play Jade Empire, Fable, or good ‘ol Command & Conquer .. the choices, oh oh the choices.
