So I changed the layout a bit. I like the two sections layout better,
but the sidebar was getting just way too long. So, in an effort to make
more stuff visible at one time, I split it up into three sections. Let
me know what you think, because if everyone likes the two sections
style better, I'll figure out a way to make it work.
Also, I put up a Now Playing section, which as you would guess,
displays what I am currently (or the last thing I was) listening to.
Cool huh? You can thank some dude named Brandon Fuller for that. He made a cool little plugin for iTunes that does it automatically. Only thing, it has two problems.
The first, it only works for the first five songs per session, and when
you get to the fifth song, it popups an annoying dialog box telling you
to donote. This would not bother me so much, except it will not skip to
the next song until I click the “OK” button. How annoying is that? VERY!
The second problem, is that I used a flash module called Gizmo
to display the song info, and, due to its methods of displaying song
info, it will only display the info when you are viewing the main page.
I am in the process of writing my own code to display the song info in
what I consider a better style, but due to school and such, do not
expect to see that change anytime soon.
