FRIDAY
Some folks and I went down to the Buckhead area of ATL…and…it was ok. I
was expecting a lil’ bit more of a scene, but for the $5 I had to spend
it was worth it. At first we went into this club called Malibu (I
think). This club was just crazy. All the female workers in the club
wore bikini's (those tiny ass boy shorts and a top), which, was
interesting. The best part, is that the club has a swing at the front
of it (you can see it from outside the club). Well, folks pay some
loot, get to sit in the swing, and one of the workers gives them a lap
dance right there. It was crazy. The only bad part about the club was
it was a techno/hip hop club, so I wasn’t really feelin' the music all
that much. The girls though and there lil' boy shorts, not too bad, not
too bad at all. We also went into another club called “The Living Room”
or something like that. Now talk about a ghetto ass club, this is it.
There was no fancy lighting or seating or nothing. And, right when the
club started to get good (and it was getting good), the power went out
(only in the room that was good). I couldn’t believe it. They ruined
what could have turned into a nice lil’ spot. Oh well.
SATURDAY
The majority of Saturday I spent walking around Lenox Square. I tried
to leave, I really did, but I just couldn't pull myself away. It was
just too good of a place to chill at. As for the women…oh the women, I
can honestly say that I have never seen so many beautiful black women
in my life. They just look damn good, crazy damn good.
SATURNIGHT
The original plan was to hit up some clubs (again). However, about 9ish
it started raining, and not that Washington baby sprinkle rain, this
was that get soaked walking from the car to the door type rain. Plus,
it was the last night I was going to be able to stay up late and play
video games with my lil’ dude (nephew). So, I decided that staying in
the house and whipping his ass in the some video games was a better
plan, and, it was. Gotta love video games.
SUNDAY
I was hoping to get up and head back to the mall to pick up a gift or
two or three, and, run by the Coca-Cola factory that everyone seems to
talk about. However, when I woke up I saw nothing but more rain…lots
and lots of rain, and a tornado warning all over Georgia. WACK!!! That
however didn’t stop us from heading to the mall, which was a bad idea.
We arrived at the mall only to find out that it was closed. Yup, the
mall was closed. Apparently just about all of Atlanta shuts down on
Easter Sunday. I guess folks really were not joking about the south
being the Bible belt. I mean, where else in this country does a city
shut down for Easter? I was shocked…thoroughly, thoroughly shocked. I
wish I would have known that yesterday. Oh well, I just hope that this
damn rain & tornado watch do not interfere with my flight back home
tomorrow morning.
