Pushing Up The Release Date

So I was on the internet today doing what it is that I do on the internet…nothing. While doing nothing I stumbled upon vibe.com.
Now, I new Vibe had a website, but the last time I was there it was
basically a big advertisement to go purcahase the magazine. Now though,
it's actually a website. Good job folks.

Anyway, while browsing
the website I came across an article which I can't link to thanks to
Vibe.com and their fabulous web-design (*note sarcasm*) about Fat Joe
and his apparent beef with 50 Cent (how many people just got interested
in the rest of this blog). While reading the article, it talked about
50 Cents new album “The Massacre” and its soon to be release date. The
part I found so interesting was this line right here: “Interscope, 50's
label, pushed up the release of The Massacre to March 3 from March 8
after the album leaked onto the 'net last week.” My question, what are
the people thinking when they write this shit.

Seriously, maybe
it's just me, but the first thing I thought of when I read that was
“oh, it's on the internet already…”. I'm sure you can guess what the
rest of that sentance was. Now obviously I must not follow 50 close
enough (on purpose), because I had no idea that his new album was
coming out so soon.

However, I now know that it'll be out soon
enough. And what is even better, is that thank to the wonderful folks
at Interscope who so badly want people to NOT download it, I now know
that it is available via the internet. Thanks Interscope. I mean
seriously, if they DO NOT want people to download it, why on earth
would they say in a public statement that it is now currently available
via the internet and that it won't be available in the stores for
another week or two. I find it just funny. To me, Interscope basically
said “Hey, guess what everyone, 50's album is available on the internet
right now…but don't download it.”

Yea. OK. I'll get right on not downloading that Mr. Interscope spokesbitch.
